The Marine Blue Medium is the all-round pad in Zvizzer's marine trapez range, the balanced middle grade that handles most of the work on a boat. It has enough bite to correct light-to-moderate defects, oxidation and swirls, yet a fine enough foam to leave a clean, refined surface behind it. Its signature is versatility: paired with a one-step polish it can cut and finish in a single stage, which is exactly what you want when a hull needs correcting but not stripping.

It shares the range's thermo foam, so it stays thermostable where ordinary medium pads warm up, soften and lose consistency. That stability keeps your cut and finish even from bow to stern, and the twin-foam build lasts several times longer than standard foam. An inner hole lets the pad relax and release heat as it runs. At 180mm it makes short work of large marine surfaces, and it takes both rotary and orbital machines. When you are not sure which pad to start with, this is usually it.

Application

The Blue Medium pad works on both rotary and orbital machines. Fit it to a clean backing plate, then prime the face lightly with your polish before the first set.

Apply 4-6 drops of polish to the pad and spread it over your section before bringing the machine up to working speed. Work in steady, overlapping passes under moderate pressure until the defects clear.

Keep the face clean as you go for a consistent finish. Have a spare on rotation and let each one cool between sets. Rinse in warm water or a pad cleaner and air-dry. Sized 180mm (180/25/160 mm.
