Zvizzer Thermo Hybrid Pad - The Most Aggressive Cut in the Range

The Thermo Hybrid is Zvizzer's most aggressive detailing pad, blending microfibre and wool for the highest cutting power in the range. It is built to tear out severe scratches and deep defects from heavily damaged clear coats, cutting harder than foam or microfibre alone. When paint is in a real state and you need to move fast, this is the pad you reach for.

The microfibre-and-wool face sits on a thermostable foam layer that holds the pad's shape and cutting force through intensive use, so it stays aggressive and lasts, and it clears easily with compressed air. It is designed for dual-action machines and cuts best with HC 4000. Because it is so aggressive, plan to follow it with a softer foam pad and a finishing stage to bring the gloss back up.

Application

The Thermo Hybrid is designed for dual-action machines and cuts hardest with an aggressive compound like HC 4000. Fit it to a clean backing plate and prime the face lightly with compound before the first set.

Dispense an amount to suit the pad size and your working area, then spread it over the section before bringing the machine up to working speed. Work in firm, overlapping passes and let the pad cut before moving on.

Keep the face clean as you work, and clear it with compressed air or a pad cleaner between sets. Rinse in warm water and air-dry or use Pad Cleaner for faster turnaround, and always follow with a softer pad to refine.
