The Pro Nano Wool is Zvizzer's professional wool cutting pad, made for the heaviest correction a bodyshop takes on. Its face is one hundred per cent natural Merino wool with long, eighteen-millimetre hair, which cuts harder and faster than a foam pad, clearing severe scratches, sanding marks and heavy defects at speed. Where foam struggles with consistency, this is the pad that levels the damage.

The wool is processed onto a fabric cloth and bonded to a thermostable foam that sets its cutting power and keeps it consistent under heat, so you get an extreme cut that stays even and a pad that lasts. Careful, unified processing keeps the result surprisingly clean for a wool pad, close to hologram-free, which means less work to refine afterwards. Pair it with a professional heavy cut compound for your opening stage, then step down to foam to finish.

Application

The Pro Nano Wool suits rotary machines or orbital for maximum cut depending on technique, and is made for heavy correction with a professional cutting compound. Fit it to your backing plate and prime the wool lightly with compound before the first set.

Dispense an amount to suit the pad size and your working area, then spread it over the section before bringing the machine up to working speed. Work in firm, overlapping passes and let the wool cut before moving on.

Wool holds more compound and heat than foam, so keep it clean as you work and let it cool between sets. Rinse in warm water and air-dry or use Pad Cleaner for faster, efficient turnaround, then tease the fibres back up once dry with a brush or airline.
