Start with a clean pad and prime it before your first pass. Apply a small amount of compound to the pad or the panel and spread to cover your working area.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOn a rotary, spread at around 650 rpm, then finish at roughly 1,200 rpm under light pressure to refine and seal.
