Start with a clean pad and prime it before your first pass. A medium foam pad suits most work; step to a harder pad for heavier defects, or a softer one to prioritise finish. Apply a small amount to the pad or the panel and spread to cover your working area.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOn a rotary, spread at around 650 rpm, then work up to 1400 rpm under moderate pressure to cut, refine and seal. On an orbital, spread on speed 1 and work up to speed 5.
